Bill and Catherine Luther

Bill and Catherine have lived and owned real estate in Cambridge for decades.

Bill and Catherine founded Channing in 1987 inspired by the idea of a real estate business centered on a personal approach. They built an office in which agents work together in an upbeat and supportive environment that clients recognize as an asset to their transactions. Over the years, they have enjoyed renovating many of the homes in which they have lived. Together, they have over forty years experience in real estate and have extensive experience selling homes in all of the Cambridge area.

Bill's background in banking and finance coupled with Catherine's remodeling experience and tremendous flair for interior design make them an unbeatable team. Outside of work, Bill and Catherine enjoy traveling and taking walks with their dog, Benny.

Nichole Bookwalter

Nichole Bookwalter, originally from the Chicago area, earned her degree in Biochemistry and was accepted into a Harvard based internship in Dietetics at Massachusetts General Hospital. After moving to Boston she fell in love with the area, married a Bostonian, and has made this her home. Nichole began a sales career in Pharmaceuticals and her track record of success convinced GE Medical Systems to offer her a position representing their highly technical medical equipment throughout New England. After several years of exceptional results Nichole decided to stay home with her 2 young children. Nichole's family (architect and environmental lawyer) has worked their entire life towards preserving the architectural heritage of Cambridge. She has fallen in love with the history and purchased a home on the National Register of Historic Places in Somerville where she raises her children. As her boys have reached preschool age Nichole has returned to the work place with Channing Real Estate, Inc. to help buyers and sellers make the best possible decision on what for many will be the largest financial decision they make in their lives. With Nichole's proven track record and genuine interest in the local housing market she will do what it takes to represent you well.

Wendy Duan

Wendy Duan came to the U.S. from China in 1996. She received her architecture degree in China and has been active in the real estate business since 2000. She has worked closely with a construction company on rebuilding and renovating property in Lexington, Bedford, Brookline, Cambridge and Newton. Wendy believes that her most valuable asset is the network of people she has met throughout her life. Wendy will serve her clients with the same respect, care and honesty that she does her dearest friends. Wendy enjoys Chinese cookery, going on walks and spending time with friends. She also enjoys travel and learning about cultures and histories of the places she visits. Wendy is passionate about antiques, particularly Asian antiques. In fact, her dream is to design and build an authentic Chinese courtyard house in Boston. A classical Chinese garden with a curved bridge over a small stream will be its centerpiece!

Ann Foley

Ann Foley, a Native of Montreal, lived and was educated in Switzerland, Canada and France. Prior to her career in real estate she worked as a Human Resources officer in Toronto and ran her own travel agency in Cambridge that specialized in organizing trips to French wine regions for small groups of enthusiasts. Ann’s cultural awareness and international experience make her sensitive to the needs of other people. She strives for excellence in everything she does. Ann succeeds through her ability to ensure quality service, honesty and integrity. You will appreciate Ann’s enthusiasm and commitment to make sure that your real estate goal becomes a reality.

Ann resides in Cambridge with her husband and two teenage sons. She and her family are fond of travel. They have enjoyed visiting much of Europe bur are particularly in love with Asia. Ann also appreciates gourmet food, ballet and spending time with her children

Kristin Heath

Kristin Heath, a 4th generation Bostonian, brings extensive knowledge of the Boston/Cambridge area and beyond. After living in the Boston area for many years, she moved to the North Shore in 1996 to raise her two sons and has recently moved back to Boston to concentrate full-time on her local real estate career.

In addition to her area expertise, Kristin brings a wealth of marketing experience to the real estate business, having worked for twenty-plus years as a marketing communications and brand director for several Massachusetts-based high-tech companies.

Kristin graduated with honors from the Simmons College Department of Management in 1982 earning a BA in Business Management with a minor in marketing communications

Carl Kelly, Rentals Associate

Carl Kelly is an engaging, personable gentleman who derives great enjoyment from meeting and helping the many folks for whom he has found lodgings. He prides himself in taking a keen interest in their unique needs, helping make their sometimes stressful apartment search into a thoroughly enjoyable adventure. He has lived in various cities in Europe including Rome, Dublin, Antwerp and Maastricht in the Netherlands, and Vaduz in Lichtenstein. Much of the time he lived as a traveling artist and musician in Germany and Ireland alongside some of his more famous cousins from the Kelly Family. He continues his artistic endeavors creating commissioned artworks for churches and individuals. You might run into him at one of the various pubs in the area where he is a fixture playing the Irish (not Scottish!) bagpipes in some of the fine “sessions” that form part of the musical landscape of Boston.

Krista Kessler

Krista Kessler, originally from the West Coast, loves living in Cambridge and exploring all the vibrant community has to offer. After completing her law degree at the City University of New York, Krista worked at the Youth Advocacy Project in Boston. Krista brings years of professional experience to the field of real estate including over 10 years in customer service.

Krista continually seeks to engage herself in the Cambridge/Boston community and enjoys volunteering with local nonprofits and providing childcare at her church. Along with her husband, Krista enjoys searching for the best food in the area. Krista also likes running and biking along the Charles and going to the gym.

Lisa Leonard

Ides Miller

Ides Miller has over 10 years experience working as a Real Estate Sales and Rental Agent in the Brookline, Cambridge and the Greater Boston Area. Originally from Brazil, she gained her degree in Education and became a high school teacher. Ides then relocated to the Boston area. She found her passion when she transitioned into the real estate market. Her multicultural experience and bilingualism is a great asset to her work. She enjoys connecting with people from all over the world and looks forward to helping those that she works with accomplish their goals. She strives to provide the best service through hard work and an honest straightforward approach. Outside of work, Ides keeps herself busy by caring for her two teenage sons, volunteering for different organizations, traveling and running everyday with her dog.

Meg Shea

Meg Shea grew up in Belmont and has lived in the Boston area all of her life. She is quite familiar with the city and it’s surrounding communities. She attended Simmons College School of Management. Upon graduation, she worked for a mutual fund company in Boston. After deciding to settle down and raise a family, she and her husband bought an old farmhouse in the North Shore that needed extensive renovation. Her love of the decorative arts encouraged her to start her own decorating/consulting business. After many years of working independently, she decided to re-enter the financial world working as a mortgage originator. Meg’s wealth of experience is always a valuable resource in the home buying and selling process. Whether it’s walking her clients through the financial process or assisting them in staging their home, Meg is committed every step of the way. Meg, her husband, three children and yellow lab currently live in Belmont. She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, traveling and volunteering for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and the Pan Mass Challenge.

Nathan Thompson

Nathan Thompson, a resident of Cambridge, has been involved in local real estate for the past decade. Originally from the mid-west, Nathan's musical talent brought him to the east coast to attend (and graduate from) Berklee College of Music.
