Bill and Catherine Luther

Bill and Catherine have lived and owned real estate in Cambridge for decades.

Bill and Catherine founded Channing in 1987 inspired by the idea of a real estate business centered on a personal approach. They built an office in which agents work together in an upbeat and supportive environment that clients recognize as an asset to their transactions. Over the years, they have enjoyed renovating many of the homes in which they have lived. Together, they have over forty years experience in real estate and have extensive experience selling homes in all of the Cambridge area.

Bill's background in banking and finance coupled with Catherine's remodeling experience and tremendous flair for interior design make them an unbeatable team. Outside of work, Bill and Catherine enjoy traveling and taking walks with their dog, Benny.

Nichole Bookwalter

Nichole Bookwalter, originally from the Chicago area, earned her degree in Biochemistry and was accepted into a Harvard based internship in Dietetics at Massachusetts General Hospital. After moving to Boston she fell in love with the area, married a Bostonian, and has made this her home. Nichole began a sales career in Pharmaceuticals and her track record of success convinced GE Medical Systems to offer her a position representing their highly technical medical equipment throughout New England. After several years of exceptional results Nichole decided to stay home with her 2 young children. Nichole's family (architect and environmental lawyer) has worked their entire life towards preserving the architectural heritage of Cambridge. She has fallen in love with the history and purchased a home on the National Register of Historic Places in Somerville where she raises her children. As her boys have reached preschool age Nichole has returned to the work place with Channing Real Estate, Inc. to help buyers and sellers make the best possible decision on what for many will be the largest financial decision they make in their lives. With Nichole's proven track record and genuine interest in the local housing market she will do what it takes to represent you well.

Sandrine Deschaux

With a Master Degree in Marketing and Communications, Sandrine Deschaux has worked for over 10 years as an Account Manager with a global advertising agency, McCann-Erickson, where she acted as a director for international ad campaigns. When she settled in Boston, she transitioned to the real estate field, bringing her dynamic energy and creative mind-set to help achieve people's needs, whether buying or selling their home. She combines an in-depth knowledge of the market, strong marketing skills, with the enthusiasm to make your experience a worry-free and enjoyable one. Sandrine's success is best expressed by her clients who praise her patience, integrity and honesty. She is a native of France, having growing up in the Alps, and shares with her husband the passions of traveling, photography and fishing. Her energy is spreading and her dedication is unmatched!

Ann Foley

Ann Foley, a Native of Montreal, lived and was educated in Switzerland, Canada and France. Prior to her career in real estate she worked as a Human Resources officer in Toronto and ran her own travel agency in Cambridge that specialized in organizing trips to French wine regions for small groups of enthusiasts. Ann’s cultural awareness and international experience make her sensitive to the needs of other people. She strives for excellence in everything she does. Ann succeeds through her ability to ensure quality service, honesty and integrity. You will appreciate Ann’s enthusiasm and commitment to make sure that your real estate goal becomes a reality.

Ann resides in Cambridge with her husband and two teenage sons. She and her family are fond of travel. They have enjoyed visiting much of Europe bur are particularly in love with Asia. Ann also appreciates gourmet food, ballet and spending time with her children

Matt Hayes

Matt Hayes, a Davis square resident, has worked hard to develop a clear understanding of the market since coming into Real Estate. Whether working with a first time homebuyer, a developer or someone moving into town, Matt's easy going professionalism, thoroughness and insights into the market are an invaluable tool to your transaction.

Matt was born and raised in Europe with his roots in Australia and the United States. His ability to concisely and comfortably communicate different ideas to different clients is paramount in being able to help everyone.

Kristin Heath

Kristin Heath, a 4th generation Bostonian, brings extensive knowledge of the Boston/Cambridge area and beyond. After living in the Boston area for many years, she moved to the North Shore in 1996 to raise her two sons and has recently moved back to Boston to concentrate full-time on her local real estate career.

In addition to her area expertise, Kristin brings a wealth of marketing experience to the real estate business, having worked for twenty-plus years as a marketing communications and brand director for several Massachusetts-based high-tech companies.

Kristin graduated with honors from the Simmons College Department of Management in 1982 earning a BA in Business Management with a minor in marketing communications.

Elaine Kelleher
General Manager

Continuously in the Industry for over 25 years, Elaine has served many positions and has been affiliated with some of the top companies in the Region. These companies include a small independent in The North Shore, a few National Franchises and two of the area’s largest independent firms. From Sales Agent to Manager, to Franchise Business Development to Regional Vice President; the experience and knowledge of the business gained has been invaluable to her success within the industry. Most recently she has held the position of Business Development Consultant for Weichert Real Estate Affiliates throughout New York and New England.

Throughout her years in the business, Elaine also held various membership and leadership positions within the REALTOR organization including but not limited to, President of her local Board, Massachusetts Association of Realtors State Director and National Member of the Fair Housing Committee. She has strong communication skills, technology/computer skills, presentation development and training, business development ability and overall leadership qualities that have evolved over the years.

Elaine has also spent time volunteering with many charities and philanthropic organizations such as MDA, Easter Seals, My Brother’s Table, Essex County Community Foundation, Sleepy Lion Theatre Group and several other charitable groups. In 2003 she was a founding member of the Essex County Women’s Foundation, a charitable organization supporting the causes of women and children.

A resident of Winthrop, with strong ties to the Boston area, Elaine is mother to three grown children. She spends her spare time traveling, reading, walking and enjoying her granddaughter and will soon to be entertaining a few other tiny additions coming to her growing family.

Elaine firmly believes in the philosophy of “Don’t change the recipe” just improve upon it!

Gary J. Kovner

Prior to joining Weichert, Realtors - Channing Real Estate, Gary J. Kovner represented several of the top mortgage lending institutions in the country dating back to 1990. In 1993, Gary founded Home Financing Centers, Inc. a leading home mortgage brokerage located in Swampscott, MA. He sold the company in 2003 and founded Lexicon Capital Partners LLC, a commercial mortgage brokerage and real estate investment firm. Gary is a member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, Massachusetts Mortgage Association, New York Association of Mortgage Brokers, Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers and the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association. Kovner received the 1997 "Leaders Making A Difference" award given by Banker & Tradesman, the Real Estate, Banking and Commercial Weekly for Massachusetts. Kovner has been featured in numerous articles concerning the mortgage industry in publications such as Investor's Business Daily, Scripps Newspapers and MSN. Kovner earned a B.A. degree from the University of Massachusetts in 1980.

Lisa Leonard

Lisa Leonard, a real estate professional with a long track record, is known to provide unparalleled professional service with thorough attention to detail. Marianne Menon

Marianne Menon, a Cambridge resident, is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Sciences and Health and is a member of The Greater Boston Association of Realtors. She has lived in various neighborhoods in the Boston area, and appreciates the rich ethnic diversity and intellectual climate she has found here. She is also a member of the MIT community. Marianne loves to travel, and her travels have brought her to far-flung areas of the world such as India, Japan, Europe, and Singapore. Marianne got into Real Estate from her own personal interest in buying property. Nathan Thompson

Nathan Thompson, a resident of Cambridge, has been involved in local real estate for the past decade. Originally from the mid-west, Nathan's musical talent brought him to the east coast to attend (and graduate from) Berklee College of Music.
