Boston, along with Atlanta, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas, Philadelphia, New York, Cincinnati, Baltimore and Los Angeles ranked as 10 top cities for recent college graduates. The rankings are based on the price of a 1-bedroom apartment, availability of entry-level jobs and access to cultural and lifestyle offerings.

Where is the recession ending? Here's a list of US cities recovering from the recession. Major US cities were evaluated based on job growth potential and property values holding steady. The Boston-Cambridge area made the list for relatively stable home prices and reasonable job growth
during the recession.

Home Prices Projected to Begin Rebound in 2011

The Wall Street Journal reports on home value trends for 2011. Economists from Deutsche Bank to the Census Bureau are weighing in on what's in store and the prognoses range from pie-in-the-sky super optimistic to more moderate, plausible scenarios. And, we're not hearing so much of the grim predictions of further decline in the housing market anymore. The consensus seems to be that 5 or 10 years hence, not only will we all be in a good place again, the process of recovery is well under way.
