Eighteen Properties Under Contract last week!
Welcome to 2008! The spring selling season is here and property is moving! It may be cold outside but the market is heating up! According to the MLS eighteen properties ( Yes! Count em .... Eighteen! ) went under contract last week in Cambridge.
Three of them were single family homes And, check this out ... average time on market for these three listings was only 68 days. Pretty quick turnaround for late winter.
Thirteen condominiums found potential new owners last week. These properties, ranged in asking price from $289,000 to $618,000. They lasted on the market for an average of only 79 days. Interestingly, the average asking price for this group was $366,000 and four of them were available for only 9 days!
Two multi-families ( a three family and a two family) went U/A last week. Average time on market: 105 days.
Overall it was a busy week for Cambridge real estate.
